Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is a very popular and exciting place to relax, have a drink, listen to music and enjoy delicious food. Jimmy Buffett first started his career in Nashville, Tennessee. He went there to kick off his musical career. Jimmy recorded an album called “Down to Earth” but unfortunately that album did not sell. Jimmy then ended up in Miami for an alleged booking date but once he got to Miami there was no job. Jimmy stayed with his friend Jerry Jeff Walker where he regrouped, one day Jimmy took a drive down A1A which is also known as the overseas.

This road took Jimmy to the town that he bases his career on today which was and still is a large part of Jimmy’s life. This town is called Key West, Florida. It was between 1974 and 1982 when Jimmy had found a band and went on the road. This is when his greatest hits started to come out and they got really good, good enough to play as a band and make a band album. The band was called the Coral Reef Band and they rocked. All of this eventually led to Jimmy Buffett opening the Margaritaville restaurants; there are restaurants in Key West, Orlando, New Orleans, Panama City Beach, Las Vegas, Mohegan Sun, Myrtle Beach, Glendale, Caribbean, and Mexico. Margaritaville is a place for Parrot Heads and anyone else who is ready to have a great time and enjoy great food in a tropical and relaxing setting. The Margaritaville in Orlando is located in Universal Orlando’s City Walk and includes The Lone Palm Airport and an outside area to sit.
