It took just a short 9 ½ months for them to take down the old Gator Bowl and build the new stadium. This stadium was built right along the St. Johns River and it was labeled to be the best stadium in the country. This stadium also hosted the single most important sporting event in the world, Super Bowl XXXIX. The stadium was first called the Alltel Stadium but is now named the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
