Tracy, somewhere in her 40s, is not your typical mother of four. She has a certain personality that closely mirrors that of a certain type of people that lived many years ago. No, she does not go around the Caribbean seizing other ships, holding people prisoner, and searching the many islands for precious treasure. However, Tracy has the attitude of a down to earth, far from fake human being that will tell you how it is. With three piercings in just one ear and one piercing in the other, Tracy knows that she is a pirate. While passing by, she will often greet others with and “ARRR!” in which they reply “ARRR!” It is comical and fun, but Tracy sees it a way of life. You are probably wondering, “If Tracy is a ‘modern day pirate,’ then how does she dress?” I respond with that is a great question in which I will now answer. As all pirates have love for skulls and odd sorts of images, Tracy has fallen in love with a designer that has become famous for his collaboration of skulls, swords, and designs. Tracy is a major consumer of Ed Hardy. She has the shoes, shirts, and definitely the jackets. Tracy has more jackets than days of the week. One of her favorite places in the world is the Ed Hardy store in New York City. Her obsession of skulls and agreement that “love kills slowly” is proof of her modern day pirate persona.
